Driving

I admit I am not the best driver and I have eatten while behind the wheel but today I saw a strange thing. While trying to avoid a driver that was swerving into my lane I realized that he was reading the bible. I thought those people only came out on Sundays.

A few random thoughts

Thirty feels just like every other birthday.

Thank you to Bjork Hater for the great birthday present. Thank you to everyone that came to my surprise party, I thought everyone had forgotten about me.

Hostels are out for the cross country trip but are very feasible for weekend get-aways.

Drivers there is this lever on the left side of the steering wheel. When you raise it or lower it a blinking light comes on. This light lets others around you know your driving intentions. USE THIS LEVER!

Help Needed

I have a couple of questions for anyone who actually reads this. I was thinking about staying at hostels on the way to Cali and for the first week in Cali does anyone have an opinion about this and can you live in California without a car?

Thanks for any advice on these topics.

Moms or Dads

Coaching has been a large part of my life for the past 5 years and one thing has always gotten to me. Don't get me wrong I love coaching and the kids are usually great but it's the parents I wonder about.

I have often wondered who's worse "Gymnastics" moms or "Football" dads. Gymnastics can also include dance and cheerleading and football also includes basketball and baseball. Soccer can go either way.

Kids are all special in their own way but when parents believe their child is the best and should be treated that way it really frustrates me. I have always tried to treat every child fairly but each coach has to admit that subconsciously there is always a favorite one.

Gymnastics moms want to know why their children aren't learning as quickly as the others. Football dads want to know why their kid is riding the bench. Just leave questioning the judges about scores or yelling at the refs up to the coaches.

So my question is who do you think is more obnoxious?

I forgot

A belated Happy Birthday Gen and a belated Happy Anniversary mom and dad.
